M.E.SCHUPP sponsert die 9. ESG Conference, die als einer der wichtigsten Kongresse für Glass-Technologie vom 22. bis zum 26. Juni in Trencin stattfindet. Auf der Tagung, die von der slowakischen Glas Society ausgerichtet wird, hält SCHUPP-Ingenieur Manfred Herweg einen Vortrag über die neue Produktion von MolyCom-Heizelementen aus MoSi2 in Aachen - eine von nur zwei Produktionsstätten für elektrische Hochtemperatur-Heizmodule überhaupt in Europa. Die Notizen zu diesem und anderen Referaten machen die dreihundert Teilnehmer in Notizblöcke und mit Kugelschreibern, die, genauso wie das Conference-Bag, das M.E.SCHUPP-Logo tragen.

The ESG Conference, one of the most important meetings in the field of glass science and technology, is held every two years in a different country, promoting the exchange of scientific information, and bringing together experts working in such diverse areas of glass science and technology as technical and industrial glasses, their applications, glass manufacturing, glass archaeology, art, environmental issues, etc.The 9th ESG Conference hosted by the Slovak Glass Society will be held in June 2008 in TrenÄÃn, Slovakia. The conference is intended to deal not only with the state-of-the art in the areas concerned, but also to address the questions of future developments, applications and challenges in glass science and technology, expressed by the motto of the conference: Glass - The challenge for the 21st century.
