Glassman Europe Barcelone: MoSi2 Heating Elements Made in Germany - High Temperature Technology von M.E.SCHUPP for Glass Industry

Aachen, May 2011. M.E.SCHUPP Industriekeramik GmbH & Co. KG, provider of key components for high temperature furnaces, will showcase electric heating elements from MoSi2 for melting furnaces up to 1,850° from its own production at the trade show for the glass industry Glassman Europe, (Barcelone, May 25 – 26, 2011) booth A17. The heating elements, available under the trade name Molycom®-Ultra, have already been manufactured in Aachen since early last year. Thus M.E.SCHUPP® is the only manufacturer of MoSi2 heating elements in Germany and the second one in Europe. In Barcelone, the worldwide acting provider of high-temperature components introduces the heating elements for electrically operated melting furnaces and tanks for laboratory and industrial applications to the Spanish market. On this occasion MolyCom® applications for the glass industry will be showcased in practice. This also includes integrated packet solutions such as M.E.SCHUPP®-MolyTec® electric heating panels consisting of MolyCom® heating elements and AL2O3 insulation boards or complete furnace modules manufactured by M.E.SCHUPP® upon customer’s order.
Further to the premiere product M.E.SCHUPP® presents in Barcelone the entire product portfolio for assembly and operation of glass melting facilities. At the booth, visitors will find components and materials from the Glassman product ranges fire proof materials, feeder technology, glass melting furnace technology, electrically heated systems and insulating material.

With its production site in Aachen M.E.Schupp® offers the European glass industry a second source for MoSi2 heating elements. As „Engineered and made-in-Germany“ products they stand for continuous high quality, measured in electric heating elements related to criteria such as constant electric resistance, homogenous maximum temperature, high thermo shock resistance and a long life cycle. The production compliant with established industrial standards allows for the side by side use of new and old elements side by side and the simultaneous operation of MolyCom®-Ultra and heatingelements from other vendors.
Molycom®-Ultra is manufactured in all diameters from 3/6 mm to 12/24 mm up to a length of 2 meters. The hot bending technology, worldwide only mastered by a few manufacturers, allows for realization of complex heating element geometries upon customer request.

M.E.SCHUPP® presents MoSi2 heater elements on the Glasstec - Value-for-money alternative to market-leading products

Düsseldorf, September 2010. From September 28 to October 01, 2010, the M.E.SCHUPP® Industriekeramik GmbH & Co. KG, Aachen, shows its product and solutions portfolio for the cost-efficient operation of high temperature systems. Center of attention at booth E40 in hall 13 are the meanwhile proven molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heater elements MolyCom®-Ultra. The heater elements for the temperature range between 1250°C and 1850°C are a cost-efficient alternative to the market-leading heater element products for users in the glass industry.

Apart from MolyCom®-Ultra, M.E.SCHUPP® shows in Düsseldorf its complete offer for the construction and operation of glass melting facilities. At the booth, the visitors find components and materials from the product areas refractories, forehearth technology, glass melting furnace pot technology, electrically heated systems as well as insulation materials.
